Product Description

Continuous casting is a process inwhich liquid metal is continuously poured into one end and molding material iscontinuously pulled out from the other end. Continuous casting is suitable forthe production of copper, steel, aluminum, zinc, gold, silver and other alloyswith constant section shape and large length. Graphite Die is the key part ofcontinuous casting equipment. At present, graphite material with good thermalconductivity and certain strength is generally used in non-ferrous metalcasting mold.

The results are as follows:

1. The continuous casting graphitemold has good high temperature resistance, and the performance is still stableat high temperature, and the probability of thermal expansion and coldcontraction is greatly reduced, which can be ignored at present;

2. Graphite has good lubricity, andmetal liquid will not stick to graphite mold during solidification;

3. Graphite has good thermalconductivity, good wear resistance and high mechanical strength, which makesgraphite mold play a more and more important role in science and technology.

At present, under the premise ofthe continuous improvement of industrial production process requirements, inorder to achieve the best continuous casting effect, select the appropriategraphite material, and combined with the new production process of our company,the graphite mold is treated with oxidation resistance and wear resistance,which solves the problem of short service time of the mold on the market,greatly improves the production speed of customers and reduces the cost ofenterprise The cost of industrial production.

Superior Material and Construction

Manufactured from high purity graphite, this die guarantees prolonged operational integrity even in extreme environments. Its Shore hardness of 48-58 and density of 1.85 g/cm3 make it highly resilient and stable, suited for diverse industrial tasks. Custom machining ensures a fine and smooth surface finish suitable for precision operations.

Wide Range of Industrial Applications

Designed for versatility, the graphite die finds widespread use in continuous casting, pressure sintering mold production, glass shaping, and metallurgical processes. Its excellent electrical resistivity and thermal performance make it ideal for operations where both conductive and insulating properties are crucial.

FAQs of Graphite Die:

Q: How is the graphite die customized to meet specific application requirements?

A: We offer customization based on clients drawings and specifications, allowing for various shapes such as round or custom designs. Precision machining achieves tight tolerances (0.02 mm) and surface finishes that cater to different industrial needs.

Q: What industrial processes can the graphite die be used for?

A: This die is suitable for continuous casting, pressure sintering mold fabrication, glass shaping, metallurgy, and other specialized industrial processes that demand high temperature resilience and purity.

Q: When should you use a graphite die with high compressive strength and low porosity?

A: Selecting a graphite die with 50-85 MPa compressive strength and 18% porosity is ideal for heavy-duty or high-pressure industrial processes to ensure longevity, stability, and consistent product quality.

Q: Where is the graphite die manufactured and distributed from?

A: Our graphite dies are produced in China and distributed globally. We serve as a manufacturer, supplier, trader, exporter, and distributor, covering a broad spectrum of industrial clients worldwide.

Q: What is the benefit of using a high purity graphite die in continuous casting?

A: Utilizing high purity (99% carbon) graphite dies in continuous casting ensures enhanced thermal stability, reduced contamination risk, and superior surface quality of cast products.

Q: How is the graphite die packaged for export to ensure its safety?

A: Each graphite die is wrapped with plastic film as an inner protective layer and enclosed in a sturdy wooden case for outer packaging, guaranteeing safe transit and protection against environmental damage during shipping.
